Christmas is a magical time of year, especially for children. As we age, what was once magical and mysterious can become routine and ordinary. When this happens we lose our since of wonder. In this message we will talk about what it means to simply stop and wonder about the Christmas story. What if God really did come down from heaven in the form of a newborn baby? How wonderful would that be?

We have all been created with a gift…wonder. Wonder is our unique ability to think about something with curiosity. Wonder allows us to see things from other people’s perspectives, from other points of view. Wonder opens our eyes to new possibilities, new ways of doing things. Wonder begins when we ask honest questions and when we truly desire to see and understand things more clearly. But when was the last time you wondered about God? When was the last time you heard the Christmas story and it caused you to wonder? We could all stand to wonder once again during this Christmas season.
